UNC Dataverse was the first Dataverse instance established outside of Harvard University. Chapel Hill offers a quaint college town experience with historical landmarks, famous trees, and a variety of hiking trails and natural sights tucked into central North Carolina under Carolina Blue skies. Tour Franklin Street and check out its many delicious venues, pop into a sky show at the Morehead Planetarium, or experience the exhibits in the Ackland Art Museum. There’s plenty to do in [Chapel Hill](https://www.visitchapelhill.org/), but if you want to branch out a bit, you can always hop on a bus to visit the nearby cities of [Durham](https://www.discoverdurham.com/) and [Raleigh](https://www.visitraleigh.com/).
