DESCRIPTION:<p id="docs-internal-guid-c687f8e7-7fff-52fc-0af3-c080660a3014" dir="ltr"><span>We are pleased to invite&nbsp;Journals&nbsp;to participate in a focused training session on using the&nbsp;Harvard Dataverse Repository to manage and share research data associated with publications.</span></p><p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr"><span>This training is specifically intended for journals that:</span></p><ul><li data-list-item-id="e9401f3eb1a9efdad3a01e2198d81c350"><span>Publish research data (e.g., quantitative/qualitative datasets, code, documentation) related to publications.</span></li><li data-list-item-id="e0b52c8e2041a61347eb0c99abea7062a"><span>Are interested in enabling or enhancing data sharing by their authors.</span></li></ul><p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Please note that our support and services focus exclusively on the research data associated with publications, not on hosting or managing the publications themselves.</strong></p><p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr"><span>If your journal has, or plans to have, research data available for sharing, we would be delighted to include you in this session.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>For participating journals, we will:</span></p><ol><li dir="ltr" data-list-item-id="eb8917f80d576d7c587c8359aa4646784"><span>Create a dedicated collection (Dataverse) for your journal within Harvard Dataverse, branded with your journal’s name.</span></li><li dir="ltr" data-list-item-id="e35bf98c1c7a3f2aee872babf3b6e03f5"><span>Provide step-by-step guidance and template instructions for your authors on how to deposit their data associated with accepted publications.</span></li><li dir="ltr" data-list-item-id="e8eee2baecf5a34c75a2bd5ecca71dc82"><span>Demonstrate best practices for data organization, documentation (metadata), access controls, and citation, so that your journal can establish clear, sustainable data policies.</span></li></ol><p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr"><span>Training session details</span></p><ul><li dir="ltr" data-list-item-id="e3bdb3cafd533879362c0d2cd4936c983"><span>Format: Virtual training (presentation + live demonstration + Q&amp;A)</span></li><li dir="ltr" data-list-item-id="e8f49a718da7fe6ab492deafd16e9e3f7"><span>Duration: Approximately 60 minutes</span></li><li dir="ltr" data-list-item-id="e15ad12b5fabb54ff740538e16889a63c"><span>Audience: Journal editors, editorial staff, and others responsible for data policy or manuscript management</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Registration requirement: Must use a journal-affiliated email address</strong></span><br>Space is limited to 20 registrations!</p><p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr">Presenters:<br>Sonia Barbosa <em>(The Dataverse Project, IQSS)</em><br>Dwayne Liburd <em>(The Dataverse Project, IQSS)</em></p>
