For Researchers

Getting Started

Example of a researcher dataverse.

All researchers from any discipline, both inside and out of the Harvard University community, can deposit files of up to 2.5GB, and store up to 1TB of data on the Harvard Dataverse Repository.

By creating your own Dataverse Collection, you can share, organize and archive your data and display it on your personal site. The repository makes it easier for you to receive credit for your data by providing a formal scholarly data citation and helps satisfy data sharing requirements from funders and publishers. You'll have full control of your datasets, from who you share your data with to when to publish it. The repository also increases the web visibilty of your research by making it searchable alongside other scholars’ research data.
